Tree Brand Glasses
Made in Italy and bold in design, this collection looks great on so many different people, suiting a variety of face shapes.
Though not a High Street brand like Gucci or Tom Ford, Tree brand frames are an equivalent quality and statement for fashion. This is a new fashion brand which places high regard on sustainability. The construction of the frames is also quite special, with the sides handmade from the purest titanium, providing a lightness and incredible strength. The front of the frame is constructed from environmentally-friendly plastic.
Offering a range of styles, Tree is proving very popular. If you want to make a statement, you will love Tree’s bright colours and different frame styles, some of which are quite chunky. At the other end of the scale, if you are someone who doesn’t like wearing spectacles, you might appreciate the brand’s alternative options which are completely neutral or clear, or with a very soft, subtle flush of pink running through the frame.

John is a Dispensing Optician based at our Lower Hutt practice. He has been with Black Gates Optometrists since the early days, celebrating 40 years with us in 2024. John enjoys his role in dispensing, helping people select the perfect frames or problem-solving when things aren’t quite right, making adjustments or fixes to our customers glasses behind the scenes.
Seeing familiar faces return every couple of years, John has built a strong rapport with our customers over the years. He has helped children with their frames, right from a very young age up to their teenager years and beyond. He enjoys the family-oriented environment at Black Gates Optometrists and the world class care our team is committed to providing.
